Staples Center Clearance Sale

There was an AMAZING sale at the Staples Center this weekend - and no I don't mean the potential Shaq to Miami deal.

Apparently, every year the Team LA store at the Staples Center has a clerance sale of all of their merchandise from the previous season. Anji and I had nothing to do on Saturday so we decided to go down there. I had very low expectations of the event and figured that it would serve primarily as a "time killer."

Boy was I wrong.

Let me start off by saying that I spent a total of $70. Here is what I got:

- Gary Payton Minneapolis Lakers throwback jersey made of terry cloth (Normally $85. Today $20.00)

- Suede Kobe Bryant Jersey (4X) that I am going to use as a wall hanging. (Normally $175.00, Today $5.00 yeah, Five Bucks)

- Three Lakers caps. MPLS, Purple Los Angeles, and Lakers Trucker Cap. ($25.00 each sticker price. $5.00)

- Throwback 1957 Logo TShirt with Stitched Lettering (Sticker: $32.00. Paid: $5.00)

- 0.4 "One Lucky Shot Deserves Another Tshirt" from DFish's game winning shot against the Spurs. (Sticker $25.00. Paid: $3.00)

- Black Headband with Lakers logo. (Sticker: $9.00. Paid: $3.00)

- Two Lakers throw pillows (Sticker: $20.00 each Paid: $10.00)

- Three little lapel pins (Sticker: $5.00. Paid: $.25)

I was thrilled to add even more to my exisiting Lakers collection and the reason for that could be exposed in an upcoming blog. ;)
