Red Sox looking 0-2 good!

The Red Sox are looking pretty good in the playoffs thus far. The Angels are a team that I enjoy watching and would be rooting for them if they were playing anyone other than the BoSox. They are dangerous and very good - however (superstitious Sox fans, don't read ahead) I just can't help but feel like this is the Red Sox year. Yeah yeah, everyone said that last year also. However, last year they didn't have Schilling, Foulke and even Bellhorn who adds a nice dimension to that roster.

I am standing behind my views of a Red Sox/Astros World Series - although I would LOVE to see a Red Sox / Braves series for obvious reasons.

I also found myself rooting quite passionatley for the Twins last night. If they went up 2-0 on the Yankees I would have been the happiest camper in the world.

That being said, I think that any Red Sox trip to the World Series that didn't go through New York would feel like a free pass.

One thing is certain in regards to the playoffs this year. In recent years I had saturated myself during the regular season in baseball and didn't really have any desire to watch the playoffs. This year is different. I had moderation in the baseball season and I am looking forward to the LCS and WS. If the WS goes 7 games, it will end on Halloween and the NBA season will LITERALLY begin the very next day.
